We design and manufacture custom, turnkey displays and human interfaces for machines and systems. The displays and hand controllers can be either wired or wireless (including interfacing wireless X-box controllers to serve as tele-op interfaces to robotic systems). We can design systems based around custom graphical LCD displays, custom glass LCDs (with or without backlight and in several LCD chemistries), as well as custom LED designs.

We design and implement our own segment driver PCBs and develop firmware inhouse. We will design the enclosures and electronics for any environment from full ocean depth to rad hard to space-rated systems.

We will also, if requested, integrate the display/controllers into customer systems, including the provision for interaction with sensors and actuators in the customer’s device / system. Similarly, we can design, fabricate, test, and integrate flat panel display interfaces with custom PCB or industrial (and rad hard) controller cards, and human interface systems to provide a vehicle control system, cockpit, or control system interface.

We are fluent in all digital communications protocols and can write device drivers to interface the displays to both sensors and actuators (which broadly includes motors, thrusters, propulsion and attitude control systems in addition to mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators).
